- sadhu, sadhu, sadhu. I chant these familiar verses at the back of my head as I fall asleep tonight. To new beginnings; returning back to where we started from.Sunday, May 03, 2009 @ 6:17 AM
gear up! make no comments about the oily faces! You know, sometimes when machines keep jamming up for the most obscure reasons, they are actually trying to tell you that they need a break, damnit. I got my own little fix up over the long weekend when I went home to Malaysia to see my family and friends. (: Meeting up with bryan, kwanseng & guoyaw was definitely refreshing for a change haha. We did the most random things, like shopping at Popular for weird animal pencil cases, playing with puppets, running to mamak stores to eat cheese (!) naan. -_- Got a frisbee from bryan though; now we can play, bumblebees! :D I don't know how but these few friends in my life are pretty hard to lose hahah! (Not that I've tried to) It's just, they are friends I can count on lah, even after leaving for 3 years. (: Thats pretty hard to find, you know? HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRYAN CHONG HAU FOO :D no wishes for you because Cornell came true. :D a little maintanence work now and then is always good. gearing up for the second half of the year (: Thursday, April 30, 2009 @ 4:19 AM
dish it out like you'd receive it. Today was pretty much a bad day, as bad as bad goes. Ah it sucks to smell like disappointment. Saturday, April 25, 2009 @ 8:28 AM
outrageous chocolate brownies! ![]() ![]() These brownies crackly on the top, and chewy in the inside! And get this, it is INCREDIBLY easy to make! :D Honestly, Staf and I aren't the most professional bakers in the world but the instructions were so simply and direct, there was NO way to get it wrong. :D ![]() how about a close up? It was aimed to be a cookie actually. But heck, it was so good as brownie slices, we didn't care. :D ![]() ![]() ![]() PS: Png and Vibz has dibs on these babies! ;) For avid bakers: Adapted recipe (Original Recipe from Martha Stewart):
Preheat oven to 350°. Heat chopped chocolate and butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Stir every 20 seconds until almost melted. Set aside. Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. In a separate bowl, beat eggs, brown sugar, and vanilla at high speed with an electric mixer. Mix until light and fluffy. Beat in melted chocolate. Mix in dry ingredients until just combined. Stir in chocolate chunks. Pour batter into a flat pan. Bake 12 to 15 minutes, or until cookies are shiny and crackly but soft in the center. Cool on baking sheets 10 minutes. Then, transfer to racks to cool completely. Slice according to desired sizes. Makes about 2 dozen slices. |
